With over three decades of legal experience, Alan J. Wertjes brings a deep understanding of the law and a practical, business-oriented approach to client service. Graduating from Washington University School of Law in 1987, Alan’s journey has been marked by a commitment to building strong client relationships and effectively managing risks and resolving disputes. His diverse background includes not only a clerkship with Chief Judge Charles Clark of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and work at the prestigious firm of Latham & Watkins in Chicago, but also the successful founding and operation of multiple service businesses in Olympia.
This unique entrepreneurial experience provides Alan with invaluable insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses and individuals alike. When he’s not assisting clients, Alan enjoys family life and tackling the never-ending projects on his small farm.
A Washington State native, Aaron J. Atkission is a dedicated attorney admitted to practice in 2015 after completing the Washington State Bar Association’s Law Clerk Program. His passion for the law and achieving outstanding results for his clients was ignited during his time at a boutique construction defect firm, where he contributed to significant multi-million dollar settlements.
Since joining our Olympia office in 2018, Aaron has focused on building strong client relationships and skillfully navigating complex legal matters in areas such as Business & Commercial Law, Real Estate, Contract Law, and Estate Planning & Probate. Licensed in both Washington and Idaho, as well as the Federal District Court in both states, Aaron is a vigorous advocate committed to understanding and addressing your specific legal needs. Outside of his legal practice, Aaron enjoys spending quality time with family and friends in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
